Privacy policy

Proclad Insulation & Fabrication Services Ltd (“Proclad”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our quotation form we collect:

• your name, company, email address and telephone number
• the project location, service required and the details you give us about the work

If you email or phone us directly, we keep the information you share with us in that correspondence.

How we use it

We use your details only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation and, if you go ahead, carry out and administer the work. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Enquiries are delivered to our inbox by an email service provider acting on our behalf. Where that provider processes data outside the UK, it does so under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses. Our website host also processes basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running securely.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where we carry out work for you, we keep records for as long as needed to meet our contractual, quality management and legal obligations, normally six years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. To do this, email mark.whyte@procladinsulation.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
